Adobe deals with a variety of so called Term Site Licenses, a program for educational institutions to license Adobe software campus-wide. Adobe wanted to approach new ways in tracking, managing and documenting the renewal process of those licenses.
Rocketboots and Ventego Creative worked with Adobe on the definition of the workflows definition and implemented a Rich Internet Application that's using a Flex client for internal data management within Adobe's premises and that provides a PDF-based public interface. The PDF document is an enriched and enabled document that the licensees can use to provide information for Adobe to evaluate and process the Term Site Licenses. The backend is built with Adobe's ColdFusion Server and enables the Rich Client to run off a stable and well proven foundation.
