Robin Hilliard founded RocketBoots in 2004 with the idea that a community of solution providers working collaboratively could develop and share IP to improve client service and delivery capabilities without sacrificing their independence. He is an experienced software architect, with a particular focus on Adobe's Flash platform.
Formerly with Adobe precursors Allaire and Macromedia, Robin is a regular conference speaker, an Adobe Ambassador and Master ColdFusion/Flex Instructor. He has a BSc in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from Sydney University.
Joel is a forward–looking, creative manager with an eclectic international business background spanning IT, event management, film production, international trade and hospitality. He is a fluent Japanese speaker and has a Masters in International Business from the University of Sydney.
Terry has over 40 years of unique experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. In this time he has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in a number of areas including: ICT strategic planning; enterprise architectures; ICT service management; business planning (balanced score card); project specification and project management; systems security audit and design; information management; business continuity and disaster recovery planning; risk analysis and management; and management of technical specialists and project management teams.
Terry's experience includes technical, educational and management responsibilities in major government, Defence, banking, construction, logistics and project management organisations. These organisations include: Optus network, Sydney Water, Telstra, Department of Finance, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Westpac Banking Corporation, Commonwealth Bank, Department of Environment and Conservation (NSW), and Bovis Lend Lease.
Karl is well respected nationally for his integrity, drive, commitment, client relationship management and excellent project management skills and experience. Karl's 25 years experience and expertise within the information and communications technology (ICT) sector range from designing and managing the implementation of voice/data networks, financial dealing systems, data centres and the associated physical infrastructure to developing strategies, business cases and cost plans.
Brad is an enterprising business leader, driven by a can-do approach to solving business problems. Currently the managing director of The Frame Group (Frame), Brad's career spans 30 years within the information and communications technology industry.
With twenty years work experience, and fourteen in the accounting field, Don has a very broad range of financial and administrative skills. The consistent theme of this accounting experience is one of continuous improvement to reporting and analysis, both within his area of functional expertise and on the broader scale of company operations. Don has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Charles Sturt University.
Manoj Patel is a Third Year Computer Science student at the University of New South Wales. He is familiar with OpenGL graphics programming and has extensive experience with PixelBender and Flash 10's new 3D Graphics API, posting three filters in the Adobe Pixel Bender Exchange Site and winning an award for the most technical entry in the NVidia Killer (Pixel Bender) Kernel Contest.
He is currently working on filters to create automatic stereo-grams and some common graphical effects seen on desktop operating systems, and is familiar with Flex, Cairngorm and JQuery. Manoj is the Adobe Student Representative at UNSW.
